5-Star Energy Rating

With the new 5-Star Energy Rating regulations required to be met by the Victorian Building Industry (in certain applications), Stolar is pleased to advise that our products can help you achieve this rating:

Timber windows are more energy-efficient than standard aluminium frames (and will increase your rating);

Glazing options for you to consider include -

Tinted Glass

Double-glazing

Energy-efficient glass

High-performance glass

Laminated glass

"Energy-efficiency" doesn't automatically mean "double-glazing"! Our experienced Estimators and Glazing team will be pleased to discuss any specific requirements or queries with you.

The Australian Building Codes Board, in conjunction with the Australian Greenhouse Office, have determined that timber windows are more energy-efficient than standard aluminium windows.
