STOLAR proudly uses 'Good Wood' for its Kiln-dried Hardwood ('Vic Ash') windows and doors. 'Good Wood' timber "is supplied on a controlled, environmentally responsible and sustainable basis. Full production is controlled in Australia – not derived from poorly controlled or illegal logging."

STOLAR is proud to confirm that no rain-forest timbers are used in our products. Our relevant supplier is able to identify and track "the origin of its products.... to Forest Management Units", and "this must be verified through surveillance audits by registered assessors." The sole purpose of these assessments is to ensure that "products have been sourced from sustainably managed forests."

STOLAR products have been tested by a NATA-registered laboratory, in order to ensure compliance with Australian Standard AS 2047-1999, and to provide certification of our windows' ratings for Structural Deflection, Operating Force, Air Infiltration, Water Penetration Resistance and Ultimate Strength.
